… or Chip:

Anyone else feel like Sal Pal is the Wolf Blitzer* of sports? He’s been around long enough to know his stuff, but at this point is so caught up in inner-circles and hype that his TV persona feels disconnected from humans? Also, completely over-the-top hysteria when on camera or the radio. I see parallels. Anyway, sounds like Reid merely texted Kelly congratulations after his first win. You can put away your clock management jokes, Bob Brookover.

The fat man cometh Thursday. In case you were unawaricals.

*I don’t get how CNN puts him on during big news. He was a mess yesterday. He was screaming nonsense and couldn’t slow his small brain down enough to even grasp the most basic point mentioned by an interviewee. And he must have told about 461 people to “stand by.” Everyone’s always just standing by with Wolf. He’s like a bad airport experience for his viewers both IN THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLDYou’re in the Situation Room. Go fuck yourself, Wolf.

  • you're complaining about watching CNN? September 17, 2013 at 12:12 pm

    LOLCNN.

For real, I don’t feel bad for anyone who gets the news from big business.

After the debacle that was CNN’s coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing, I’m pretty much done with CNN forever.

Though interviewing the guy wearing the “She Wants the D” shirt during the Oklahoma tornadoes was pretty awesome.

If you still watch CNN (or Fox News or MSNBC or any other cable news channel), you are what’s wrong with America. Congratulations.

Believe me, I much prefer the infinite amount of non-mainstream media out there. But during breaking news, it’s hard not to put on live coverage.

      • Cartman September 17, 2013 at 2:10 pm

Why? What do they do? Endless amounts of bullshit speculation that turns out to be 95% wrong and they’re doing it just for the sensationalism?

There’s places online, non-mainstream media, that have minute-by-minute coverage, too; aggregating all the different news services and, depending which one you get, fact-checking before running with stuff.

There’s no reason to watch any mainstream media cable news channels. None.

I’m not kidding when I say that’s what’s wrong with America.

I don’t disagree with you at all. Just saying, I stare at a screen all day, sometimes during breaking news like that, I just default to a… bigger screen. And Twitter.

Yeah Blitzer is horrible and CNN in general seems to be one giant clusterfuck every time big news happens. Yet I always seem to turn it on as opposed to the other two “news networks”. Mainly because I don’t want to hear about somehow these stories are either Obama’s or the Tea Party’s fault. Makes my head hurt….

  • Rhea Hughes' dick September 17, 2013 at 12:31 pm

Sal Pal is always giving his resume on the radio. Can’t stand him plus he can’t get Mikey Miss’s dick out of his mouth.

  • Briang September 17, 2013 at 12:46 pm

Chip texting the Tonner to ask where the best buffet’s are in town is hardly news. He probably just sent him his speed dial list.

  • Catch a damned pass September 17, 2013 at 1:51 pm

    BBC for news.

    CNN online for the comments.

It has way more idiots posting for lolz than here!

  • Predictable September 17, 2013 at 2:02 pm

I used to really like Sal Pal. Unfortunately he’s become a caricature of himself. He’s starting to sound more and more like Ron Jaworski, where every single thing he says is the most profound and most definitive thing ever said.

Before the season, he get beating to death how the Eagles needed to name a quarterback right away. Now he hasn’t said a word about it, even though it appears that Kelly made the right move in not letting Vick get complacent and by making his backup feel every bit as important as the starter.

Just another talking head blowhard now who used to get paid to report news, albeit sports news, and now thinks they are an expert on the subject. You’re just a sports info jockey, Sal, nothing else. Get over yourself.

Oh and the mention by a previous poster of his resume over and over again and where he’s been and who he’s been talking to is so on point. Sal really can’t get over himself.

I’d be very surprised if Chip was taking any advice from Andy besides where to eat in Philly. Is the technologically advanced recent college grad in your office going to the 75 year old Grandpa for work advice? Chip doesn’t give a flying fuck what ol’ man Reid thinks or does

  • Cashy the King September 17, 2013 at 3:01 pm

This “Sal Pal” does nothing but toss crap against the wall. He is an NFL outsider for sure. Goes on Mikey Miss”s show and Flip Flops, the guy is always wrong…

  • Drew S September 18, 2013 at 1:56 am

It’s sad what has happened to “Sal Pal”. He has turned into a walking, talking TMZ. He just says stuff to get a rise out of the listeners and viewers.
