Liev Schreiber will narrate a documentary about a bunch of hockey players dying in a plane crash. It’ll probably move you to tears. It will air on Saturday as part of NBC’s Olympics coverage (no time given). It’s 33 minutes long and supposedly outstanding.  Here’s a preview. Just thought you should know this thing.

What the fuck NBC, set a fucking time!

They pulled this same shit four years ago in Vancouver. Lazy Sat afternoon working around house with curling (or something) on TV, and all the sudden at like 2:13p Al Michaels pops on and says “many folks forget Canada helped us during our darkest day” then throws to a NINETY MINUTE HAYMAKER about 9/11 when US planes landed all over Canada and common folks took thousands of strangers in for 5 days, including some who’d just unknowingly lost family members at GZ. One of the best docs I’ve ever seen, and bizarrely inappropriate coming in the middle of FUCKING CURLING.

So I guess the moral is be near your TV around 2:13.

DVR is the only way I catch these things due to their inaptitude in scheduling. That said, I will be searching for this on in The Hoppah. Liev Schreiber could narrate the fucking phone book and it would win an Oscar.

Amazing how Schrieber alters his voice to do documentaries.

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Safari.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to
let you know. The style and design look great though! Hope you get
    the problem fixed soon. Kudos
