Voila_Capture 2014-02-12_02-01-15_PMThe official description of our Crossing Streams podcast is: Kyle Scott of Crossing Broad and guests on sports, entertainment, media, pop culture and Haribo Gummy Bears.

I feel like we haven’t discussed gummy bears enough, and we will do so today, when we record our next episode. [I suppose I should add Kevin’s and Dave’s names to that description, too?]

Here’s a little secret about Haribo Gummy Bears: you’re eating them wrong. They be delicious in any capacity. They be delicious with coffee, beer or milk. They be delicious in summer or winter. They be delicious in a house or with a mouse, in a box or with a fox. You get it– they’re good! But you haven’t tapped into their true potential until you’ve changed their state.

Freeze them.

Go ahead, I’ll wait.

Freeze them.

Put the whole bag in the freezer. Wait an hour or two. Enjoy.

It adds the perfect amount of pop to the glistening bears. You’ll slide them into your mouth, sense their underlying flavor, but be teased just long enough until the frozen outer layer slowly, lovingly, dissipates to reveal the exposed sugary shell of succulent bear on your moist tongue. Mmm. It’s delicious. It will change your life for the better, forever. Trust me on this. Just don’t do it with the sugar free ones.

Thus concludes your PSA, today.
