GREAT NEWS: Cole Hamels Has Suffered a Setback in His Return from Nothing to Be Concerned About
What’s this? The Phillies downplaying an injury and then it pops back up and all of a sudden is a real concern? I’ve never seen this thing before!
The Phillies beats are tweeting that Hamels has suffered a setback – a fatigue thing – and won’t throw off a mound until next week. There’s no pain in the shoulder, he says, but he wouldn’t say if he could pitch in April.
There is no MRI scheduled. LOVELY.
UPDATE: Most concerning quote ever:
"I think I threw 35 pitches. To my body, it felt like a thousand." Cole Hamels suffers a setback: http://t.co/wuLcd8YzC7 #Phillies
