Hey, It Looks Like Ilya Bryzgalov is Fitting in Nicely in Minnesota

Ilya Bryzgalov was traded to the Wild this week and it seems he’s hitting it off quite well with the local media. From the Star Tribune:

We had another fun one-minute press scrum with Bryzgalov today.

Q: How much are you looking forward to starting Sunday?

A: We practice to play in the game.

Q: How excited are you to play in front of the home fans?

A: Yeah, sure.

Q: Feel more comfortable in practice?

A: Yeah, better and better.

Q: Any superstitions or routines?

A: No.

Maybe he just feels he’s been burned by the media before, so why bother? The Oilers writers say he was standoffish at the start of his tenure there, but he slowly but surely got better and became very cooperative.

I’m so glad this baffoon is showing all the Bryz supporters how fucking stupid they were for defending him. Without a doubt the worst free agent signing in flyers history and possibly Philly sports history

Because he doesn’t warm up to the media immediately, he’s a buffoon and not worth employing? I guess Marshawn Lynch doesn’t have what it takes to be an NFL running back either, right? Jackass.

Also, Mason is putting up worse numbers than Bryz did.

In 2011-12 Bryzgalov put up better numbers for an inferior Flyers team with a jackass coach who mishandled pretty much every goaltender he ever coached than Steve Mason is putting up this season, but hey Bryzgalov’s a foreignor and quirky so let’s continue to shit on him.
