Today, they have a 98.26% chance.

This chart comes via, which shows us that the manufactured panic surrounding the Flyers’ recent four-game(-ish) skid was mostly just that– manufactured. Their chances of making the playoffs have been about over 90% since beating the Blackhawks a few weeks ago.

What’s amazing is that their playoff chances went from under 10% to over 90% in about only 100 days. Their fortunes began to reverse course after that 3-0 Devils loss, when they beat the Edmonton Oilers, 4-2, on November 9… which just happened to be the game Claude Giroux scored his first goal of the year and my first game of the year:

Coincidence? I think not.

And Kyle was at the forefront of the manufactured panic. Like always, when the going got tough, Kaslowski jumped ship. But now that it’s playoff time, he’s all in with two new t-shirts to sell.

You need an orange shirt with black block lettering that says “Bandwagoner”. I won’t expect any royalities for the idea.

Well said sir! Kyle is a fucking band wagon doosh and a half. Haven’t seen a flip flopper that bad since I whipped it out on ms. Cb last night

“the manufactured panic surrounding the Flyers’ recent four-game(-ish) skid was mostly just that– manufactured.”

When did I panic at any point over the last week? I’ve been pretty upbeat about the Flyers for more than a month now, and deservingly so. No one predicted this turn around. They were downright awful to start the season.

        • Kyle's Scott April 8, 2014 at 10:45 am

[No one predicted this turn around.]

          Wrong again, fanboy…

“We’ve never thought that we’re not going to make the playoffs. We’ll take it here game-by-game and we will make the playoffs.”

          – Claude Giroux, 10/21/13

Beat it, Kyle…you’re embarrassing yourself now trying to talk your way out of this. You’re a fraud fan, you piled on them when they were down, and you slurped Sielski’s tiny cock for every pageclick his unhinged rants were worth.

You’d be behind all of us in line for those checks snyway.

Flyers?? we’ve got all Eagles all the time baby!!

  • RT April 7, 2014 at 7:26 pm

When half the damn league makes the playoffs, you’re never really out of it…

  • Kyle's Scott April 8, 2014 at 8:33 am

Yeah, and at the time you were 100% sucking off that bitter fag, Mike Sielski and all his demanding of a “change of culture” within the Flyers. Now, you can’t get enough and you come up with queer-ass t-shirts trying to commemorate (read: capitalize) on their resurgence.

Fuck off, Kyle. You’re no fan at all. It’s plain to see.

BTW: I haven’t heard anything from that cocksucker Sielski regarding the Flyers in quite some time…I wonder if that’s because he can’t make the story about him and his big fucking mouth this time around?

    • Reader James April 8, 2014 at 8:38 am

      And Bingo

  • Ed April 8, 2014 at 9:21 am

Who cares? It’s the same story every year with the Flyers… They make playoffs and fade out to a better organization. Until Ed changes the culture, the team will never win a cup. But keep buying tickets, writing articles, and making tshirts because that’s all Ed cares about- $.

    • Mr. Snider April 8, 2014 at 10:27 am

No we don’t need a new culture!
