I assume the social media meeting went something like this: “Hey, what can we do now that we’re under fire more than ever for racism and appropriating another culture and just general shittiness? Oh, I got it, let’s show our cheerleading outfits through the years and really double down on the whole Indian thing. Because if you think the team is racist now, oh boy wait until you see how racist it used to be.”
