I really hope he’s got better child-holding form: Dom Brown has reportedly been placed on the paternity leave list. To fill his spot, the Phillies have recalled Aaron Altherr, the dude who Ruben was apparently going to trade.

I did something I thought I’d never do on this site. I found a headline amusing.

Jim, you bastard. Who the fuck do you think you are?

I have been so tuned out on the phillies that this is the first time I saw how badly he misplayed that ball; I thought he was supposed to be an athlete. Granted he was off balance but I don’t think he clears a phone book on that jump. That is ok though, its a long season and everything evens out; at least that is what Dom always tries to say.
