Every SI Writer Predicts Eagles Win Division, None Pick Them to Advance to Conference Championship
By Kyle Scott
Published:
Man, the consensus for the Eagles’ season is to make playoffs, maybe win a game, and do no more. I’m slightly more bullish than that, but MMQB writers are not:
They all picked some combination of Packers-Seahawks-Saints-49ers to make the NFC Championship game. I think the Eagles are better than both the Packers and Saints, and the Seahawks are poised for a post-Super Bowl letdown.
Other predictions are rolling in:
Based on statistical analysis, ESPN predicts the Eagles will go 10-6, with high win mark of 12 and a low of 9.
Jeff McLane and Zach Berman predict 10-6 and 9-7.
I hate all the game-by-game predictions arriving at a final record– there are too many variables. Best to just pick a wins total and go with it.
