Connor Barwin, seen above showing Zach Mettenberger what he thinks of his ironic mustache (Barwin claims irony as his first, hip right), has been named the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month. In the month on November, Barwin notched 6.5 sacks and 16 tackles, bringing his season totals to 12.5 and 34 respectively. His sack total is a career high, and yes, I am on the Connor Barwin beat because we have the same haircut:

  1. Did every other defensive player in the NFL have career-worst months or something?

The amount of PBR pounders that are going to be drunk today as the awful hipsters celebrate one of their own doing something of note will be monumental.

  2. Well at least your shitty hair is consistent with your blogging abilities. If there is one thing you have going for you Jim, its that you do not disappoint and are consistent. The only real difference between you and Barwin is probably about 100lbs and the ability to pull it off.

  3. Barwin is a beast and just got the first defensive player of the month since Brian Dawkins in December of 2009. He is the anti-Jason Babin. Hipster douche? Barwin is the fucking man. Get it together people.

    1. If he gets up around 20 sacks in the next 4 games, he will surely be in the conversation. First team all-pro at the least.

      1. Hipster douche who is over-rated and his ironic attention drawing is embarrassing.

Look at their competition in November. Green Bay, awful teams and the Cowboys who may or may not be good.

How did this Septa taking Mogwai fan do in Green Bay?
