Last night, as the Sixers made Stan Van Gundy eat his words again before he ate everything else, Allen Iverson sat down with Marc and Malik in the broadcast booth (or, you know, that spot at the back of the first level they cram the broadcasters so they can sell more courtside seats). On top of praising Russell Westbrook and talking about his relationship with the fans, AI once again mentioned how he would love to be a part of the Sixers’ front office:

“I would like to be even in that war room. Even if they don’t go with my decision, or whatever, just to have an opinion and putting out what I think and trusting the organization to do what’s right.”

I can just see how that would go:

Iverson: “Man, I know that kid can ball.”

Hinkie: “Yeah, but his defensive efficiency is below what we like to see for someone with his wingspan.”

Iverson: “WHAT?”

Or:

Hinkie, on draft night: “Alright everybody, thanks for being here, and let’s get started.”

Iverson, on draft night: *places order at Houlihan’s*
