McGowan, for your information, was the Phillies’ starting pitcher today. No, I don’t know who he is either.

Thank God the Phils have a day game. I might just have the highest ratings for the day for once.

McGowan is an oft-injured pitcher that was on Toronto previously. No idea if he pitched for other teams. Just pointing out that a ton of people likely heard of him. Just not one who runs a “sports” blog.

    Stick to “Radio Wars.”

I never heard of him either, and I sure as hell never knew anyone named “Neris” was in the entire organization. And yet, there he is, on the mound in a Phillies uniform. When you factor in the payroll, this may be the worst lineup fielded by any major league team, ever.

    UPDATE:
Amaro is still the GM of this dumpster fire. Listening to him ramble on after the softballs lobbed at him on that terrible leading off show makes me angry.

How far the once mighty have fallen. From the glory days of Halladay, Lee, Hamels, and Oswalt (sorry, I forgot Blanton)…to this current pathetic pack of pretend professionals. Joe Blanton would be a #2 in today’s rotation, and he’s trying to make a comeback while toiling in the Royals minor league system.
