DeSean Jaccson, who can’t be stopped by anyone but who has always struggled in close-quarters press coverage, was injured today when he was blown up by… a blocking sled. From the Richmond Times-Dispatch:

Receiver DeSean Jackson was injured in the first 1-on-1 session of the day. He ran a long route, then appeared to hit his right shoulder against a blocking sled that was placed behind the end zone.

Jackson did not participate for the remainder of practice, and declined comment afterward. However, he remained on the field for several minutes after practice chatting and shaking hands with Houston players.

Just this week, DeSean reminded reporters that he can’t be stopped:

Didn’t say anything about inanimate metal objects, however. Wonder what this will do for his street cred, ya digg ?? What sucks is that the injury was witnessed by 7.8 billion people.

UPDATE: He has a Grade 2 separated shoulder and is out a couple of weeks.

Djax put up over 157 and a TD on Seattle last year on the F’ing Redskins.

    That’s pretty good.

Not a big Djax fan, but Come on Man tm

Keep petitioning. You’ll get about as far as Champ Kind did with Veronica Corningstone in Anchorman.

Careful, Kyle gets very defensive when you point these things out.

I bet Ley accused the sled of racism in his story and wrote a paragraph on the history of bigotry and dissension in the football equipment community

Inanimate metal objects? I have experience with them. Last week when I was getting a colonoscopy, my doctor had to call the fire department to have them use the jaws of life to remove the Toys “R” Us from my anus. I loved it very much. Mmmmmmm.

WTF metrics are the redskins using to get that data? I read the article you linked to and wtf they are out of their minds. With that many views you wonder why they have to cover up seats in the stadium now. P.S. Another DJacc story but let’s not let the redskins beat us this year.

1yard doesn’t like to practice, everybody knows that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran into it on purpose and the grade 2 seperate shoulder is the cover so he can sit back and misspell words on Instagram all day long.

What kind of fucking retards store their steel blocking sleds behind an endzone being used for fly patterns by their most valuable/expensive player? This is professional football, not PeeWee, right?

The key, of course, is landing a quarterback on this list and that’s something that wasn’t going to happen no matter who was in charge. ASHBURN — No one in the Redskins’ locker room knows what it is like to be inside the swirl of a media circus better than wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
