Trade Talks with the Giants about Utley are Advancing

According to Jon Morosi, talks between the Phillies and Giants regarding Chase Utley are advancing into the stage where prospect names begin being tossed around. The package (or player) that would come back for Utley wouldn’t be much considering his age, salary, numbers, etc. But it’d be the third-to-final nail in the coffin for the 2008 Phillies and one more step forward in the direction of rebuilding.
