Local Comedian Wants to Fight Floyd Mayweather, Hopefully Not Die
Look. If any one of us got into the ring with Floyd Mayweather, and he trained for our fight like he did any other, and went out and tried his hardest, there’s a decent chance we’d die. It’s not his fault. It’s ours. Only a crazy person would want to put himself in that situation. Brandon “Scott” Wolf is a crazy person.
Wolf, who writes for the currently airing Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris and founded Penn State University’s premier student run stand-up comedy organization Second Floor Stand-up, has started FightBrandonScottWolf.com with the expressed purpose of getting a sanctioned fight with Floyd Mayweather. “It’s not just a fight with Mayweather. It’s boxing in the MGM Grand — live on HBO. It’s training with Ronda Rousey and The Rock,” Wolf said. “Who knows what can happen? Anything really.”
With training from Rousey and the Rock – who would naturally be down for it – how many hits does Wolf think he can take? “I believe that they could get me in good enough shape to take multiple punches to the face and body,” an optomistic Wolf said. “Plus, Mayweather hasn’t had a KO in a while.”
All this being said, Mayweather has suspiciously just retired from professional boxing, conveniently avoiding a fight with Wolf. And what does Wolf think of Floyd calling it a career just when this was taking off? “I think Mayweather saw the site and was like ‘I better hang up the gloves now otherwise I’m gonna have to appear on Fallon with this comedian.'”
To help Brandon along in his life-ending quest, you can visit his site here, send a message to Floyd telling him to man up, and follow Wolf on Twitter.
