The Pope’s Mass Will Not Interrupt the Eagles Game

In what is probably the most predictable news of #PopeWeek, Fox29 has announced that they will broadcast the Eagles game until it is over, and then cut to Pope Francis’ mass in Philadelphia, even if the game goes into OT.
Claudia Russo, FOX29 spokesperson, told City Paper that the Fox will be “airing the Eagles game in its entirety and then the mass will be broadcast. If it goes into overtime, we’ll continue to carry the game and stream the mass on our website and then switch to the mass when [the game] is over.” Smart move, and I’m sure the Pope would understand. At least more-so than Eagles fans.
