Back in the beginning of August, former Eagle Irving Fryar – who was given a motorcycle by the Eagles when he retired (the first time) and then returned it when he un-retired – was found guilty of mortgage fraud. Fryar, along with his mother, conspired “to defraud financial institutions out of more than $1.2 million.”

Today, at the sentencing for the case, Fryar’s 74-year-old mother was given probation while the former Eagle was sentenced to five years in prison. Fryar has maintained his innocence, but that hasn’t done him any good at this point.
