Jerry Jones put out the following statement about Greg Hardy last night:

“While we did not have access to the photos that became public today, we were and are aware of the serious nature of this incident. We as an organization take this very seriously. We do not condone domestic violence. We entered into the agreement with Greg fully understanding that there would be scrutiny and criticism. We have given Greg a second chance. He is a member of our team and someone who is grateful for the opportunity he has been given to move forward with his life and his career.”

Translation: “We didn’t see those photos, but, honestly, we wouldn’t tell you if we did. We knew he hit her and it was probably bad. We take this very seriously. Haha. I’m just kidding. He’s good at football. We don’t care if you don’t like him, you’ll still root for him if we win. We don’t care about Greg Hardy, the person, though. He’s a bad dude. But, again, football! He’s fine by us as long as he contributes on the field, and then, well, I don’t give a shit. He’ll probably wind up in jail, or broke, or so concussed that he can’t speak. Whatevs. He could decapitate Sam Bradford on Sunday night– that’s what I’m rooting for! Eat me. Now, where were we? Ah yes. Learn the power of the Dark Side, Anakin. The power to save Pa… wait, is this thing still on? Shit.
