Trash talking when your team has been blowtorched in three of its last five games is a bad look regardless. But, the real shit is the Redskins are playing well, currently lead the putrid NFC East, just dismantled a common opponent (the Bills), have beaten the Eagles the last two times they played, and can effectively end the Birds’ season for the second-straight season.
This will be the legacy of this sub-medicore team– one step forward, two steps back. After wins against the Patriots and Bills, the Eagles approached likability. We were so close. Didn’t even need a win last night. Just a close, hard-fought battle to keep the positive vibe going. But nope. Another destruction at the hands of a far superior opponent coupled with a truly dumbass comment like this one remind us all that Christmas is a time to… shake your goddamn head at the Dream Team quality the 2015 Eagles display each week. If it’s not an upset overpriced free agent, it’s an idiot linebacker writing bulletin board material for the upcoming opponent.
