Neighbor Mike’s Week 15 Draft Kings Picks

Moving into Week 15, Neighbor Mike – literally my neighbor, named Mike – is back with the best value picks in Draft Kings’ daily fantasy leagues.

Play Draft Kings in Week 15. Use these picks, use your own, just don’t get all mad when your picks bust. Create your team here.

QB

1. Drew Brees Det@NO $6600 Two dome teams with bad defenses and nothing to play for. This game has the highest over/under of the week at 51.5, which actually looks low. I’m going big on these 2 teams

2. Matthew Stafford Det@NO $6100. READ DREW BREES, except Stafford gets a much worse defense.

3. Alex Smith KC@Bal $5100 I have a little faith in check down Charlie this week. Chiefs are on fire and Baltimore is absolutely decimated. Also love the fact that Smith uses his wheels. I got a feeling on this one.

RB

1. Lamar Miller Mia@SD $6300 Miller is an unleashed beast after the firing of his offensive coordinator. Looking explosive and trying to maximize his upcoming free agency, Miller gonna Steed all over SD.

2. David Johnson Ari@Phi $5700. This price is too hard to pass up for a RB averaging 24 touches in his 2 starts. He should also be able to catch 4-5 balls against this Eagles D who forgot how to stop the run.

3. Tim Hightower Det@NO $3900 Never expected to be writing this name . Volume alone puts him here, but the price and the fact there is nobody else taking his work could make Hightower a serious score.

WR

1. Doug Baldwin Cle@Sea $5800 I would’ve initially looked at this as a get a lead, run it down their throat game, but when Mike Pettine said Russell Wilson isn’t top tier, you know what’s coming

2. Golden Tate Det@NO $5500 Tate has been averaging 10 targets the last 4 weeks and has been producing again. That will almost assuredly continue this week, because remember, New Orleans is chud.

3. Jeremy Maclin KC@Bal $5500 KC heads to Baltimore, who are still sore from giving up 5 TD passes to Russell Wilson. Maclin has easily been Alex Smith’s favorite target, with 30 targets in the last 3 weeks. Baltimore bad, Maclin good. I see around 8-120-1

TE

1. Gary Barnidge Cle@SEA $5000 Obviously Cleveland will be playing from behind on Sunday, and will be throwing alot. The only consistent in the Browns season long QB hell has been Barnidge. With Kam Chancellor a game time call, he could be loose all day.

2. Julius Thomas ATL@Jax $4700 Atlanta has been horrendous, and Bortles(my preseason sleeper of the year), has been throwing on everyone like they’re schoolgirls. Julius will be open all day. I’m looking at 2 scores

3. Vernon Davis Den@Pit $3300 If you want to take a cheap flier on a TE, Davis looks like a good one after his 7 reception game last Sunday. Pittsburgh hasn’t liked covering the TE all season, so Roll Davis out there.

D/ST

1. Chiefs KC@Bal $3700 Matt Schaub or Jimmy Claussen pickle. They’ll both be crunchy.

2. Patriots Ten@NE $3700 Does anyone see Tennessee doing any damage here?

3. Texans Hou@Ind $2500 The Colts offense gets Senior discounts.

      1. What are you smoking? Jim’s cat’s catnip? Kyle had a kid this week, so its only been Jim’s writing putting the CB readership to sleep this week. Site has been awful this week.

    1. I heard that Josh Innes won’t be coming in tomorrow. It looks like he has finally conceded to Mike miss. We all knew this would happen. Mikes ratings have been huge lately. And Josh has had all time low ratings.

        1. “DROWNING POOL” just changed his original comment that I replied to. In other words, he edited it. The original post by “DROWNING POOL” was about Josh Innes losing in the ratings to Missanelli (untrue) and being let go by WIP. It’s obvious that the bloggers on this site are commenting on their own website as the rest of us cannot edit comments. Unreal and really pathetic.

          1. As I logically look at this editing nonsense of comments by crossing broad, I can only come to the conclusion that this site is getting a $ kickback from 97.5 to look on them favorably and shit on WIP. The complete editing of a pro-97.5 comment on my retort is proof of that, as well as the other propaganda on this site and philly.com. If Missanelli is fired because of losing ratings, that station will cease to exist. Seems to me that they are so desperate now that they will buy blogs because they are getting their asses kicked. I’m just a radio listener, but, using my brain that God gave me, I see bias and misdirection here.

The comment section is tainted by the bloggers of this site now with their own agenda.

  1. Inspired by the movie 8 mile, Jim Adair began his high school rap career under the name “a.d.d”. After winning over the five African American men at his school , jim set his sights to college. In college Jim lost the bad boy in the suburbs persona but instead embraced the college life as be began focusing his rhymes on thirsty thursdays, keg stands, and skipping class. Bob Marley and how to make different types of shots posters covered Jims dorm walls even though he didn’t really care for either. “A.d.d” retired from the rap game shortly after completing college. Rumor has it that he has left the rap game to pursue his passion of sports blogging while enjoying x files and a fine beer. Jim, aka “a.d.d”, has nothing against the flyers….it’s just not his thing.

      1. Besides the philly influencer, sean brace is working on a script about how after cleaning toilets at pitchers pub he found an unsolvable math problem written on the wall that only he could solve. “How you like dem apples yo.”

  2. VILEnova goes down hard again. Its beginning to smell a lot like a first round exit year. Jay, you and your favorite soccer player should bolt to the NBA this year, just sayin bro’

  3. Adding to my above comments about the pro-97.5 editing of comments by this site, I was told a while back on social media by a producer on WIP that the reason WIP (and probably 97.5 as well) talk non-stop Eagles is because if they talked other sports with any regularity, they would be fired. Why? Because the typical sports radio listener is a loser that has an I.Q. of a gnat. Ratings would disappear. There are sharp listeners and callers, but they are not the norm. So, how does a “shock jock” like Innes circumvent talking about the same 5 Eagles’ topics Mon.-Fri.? He adds the entertainment (non-sports) topics to the show. It works for me. How many fucking days do you want the dude to talk about Bradford’s contract or DeMarco Murray? They won’t talk about hockey or NBA much because the Philly simpletons don’t want it. It’s as simple as that.

    1. I agree. I would like to find the connection between this blog and 97.5. I enjoy reading this blog and listening to WIP. However, this site keeps favoring 97.5 in all their articles.

      1. The connection to me is obvious. This blog is receiving money from 97.5 after Andy Bloom/WIP director at the time dressed down this site’s owner. It’s clear as day. They manipulate comments on the site, especially after the dress-down by Bloom. I caught the editing in the Neighbor Mike post, which I caught refreshing that post to my reply. 100% different comment that I responded to.

I am a daily reader of this site. I’m rethinking that after this editing fiasco. It’s the same shit this site professes to loathe.

        1. I always thought that some of the writers post comments on here due to the comments section being one of the biggest draws to the site. At least that’s confirmed now.

      1. Marks to busy stalking chip Kelly. The connection comes down to me and Jim. We’re both hip, listen to alt. music, and dislike the flyers.
