Colin Cowherd Continues His Crusade Against Eagles Fans

Published:

Colin Cowherd has never been shy about mocking East Coast sports fans – particularly Eagles fans – as loudmouthed and unwashed masses too provincial to know a good thing when they see it. Often times his criticisms are unfair and vastly underestimate the deep knowledge of sport fans here. But, when it comes to our overreactive nature – particularly when it came to Chip Kelly – well, spot-on, sir. Spot on.

The one rebuttal here is that, according to countless national and non-local writers, reporters and bloggers I’ve talked to over the years, Philly is perhaps tops when it comes to social media #engagement and genuinely seems to be ahead of other cities in discussing sports in more intelligent ways on new media platforms, our comment section notwithstanding.
