Next season will mark 50 years since the Sixers’ first NBA Championship in 1967 (the franchise won in 1955 as the Syracuse Nationals). To honor that, they’ll be throwing back to the Wilt Chamberlain era with an updated version of the uni he wore to win the NBA title worn as alternates, according to designer Conrad Burry. I say updated because … well … look at those shorts:

Those jerseys were one of the main inspiration for the team’s current look, so it’s not a huge departure, but it’s the first time they’ll honor the team’s deep history in a while.
