A Man Was Murdered in Rittenhouse Last Night, and Yep, It May Have Been over a Flyers and Devils Argument

This is a horrible story. A 24-year-old was stabbed in Rittenhouse last night while walking with three other friends. Multiple news outlets reported that witnesses heard some sort of Flyers-related argument beforehand. Indeed, multiple outlets are now reporting that angle.

From Philly Mag:

NBC 10 reported the victim was with three other people — two women and another man — when they were approached by the assailant. Police described him as a medium-built, 5-foot-8 black man who wore a blue Devils hat.

An argument ensued, and the Bucks County man was stabbed. An early report from 6 ABC indicated the killer had asked the man if he was a Flyers fan, but it’s unclear if that was the case.

Can’t imagine this will take long. Shouldn’t be that hard to find a black guy wearing a blue Devils hat in Philly.
