Michael Nutter is Watching Baseball in Cuba
There’s something historic going on right now, as the Tampa Bay Rays play the Cuban National Team in Havana, Cuba. It’s the first time an MLB team has played the Cuban team since the Orioles did it in March 1999, but that game was stateside. So of course there are important people there today. President Obama and his family are there, as well as … former Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter.
Nutter has locked up an education and TV gig since leaving office, but that still gives him time to take in some sports in Cuba, I guess. Meanwhile, Jim Kenney is bouncing balls off his butt.
Check a couple more of Nutter’s tweets and pictures after the jump.
