Report: Jay Wright has Emerged as the Favorite for the Phoenix Suns Coaching Job

File this one under highly improbable:
Fresh off NCAA title, Villanova’s Jay Wright has emerged as the top choice of the Phoenix Suns to become their head coach, per NBA sources.

Jay Wright’s stock has never been higher, so it’s not surprising an NBA team or two is going to have interest. In fact, Kyle asked me to look into info on whether or not Bryan Colangelo was courtside at the Final Four looking at Wright (or more likely Buddy Hield or no one). I don’t think I found Colangelo, but I did find this guy who I can say might be him if you squint (it’s probably Dan Majerle):
The Sixers have thrown their weight behind Brett Brown, but don’t be surprised if you hear other teams (the Nets, Knicks, or Rockets perhaps) having interest in Wright.
When reached for comment, Kyle replied: MAKE IT STOP.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
