That’s the only way to describe it.
The Flyers, the most dangerous team in hockey, who are going to destroy the Capitals in the playoffs – what sort of mush would declare these things? – may themselves be in danger of missing the playoffs after three consecutive NON-WINS. A last-minute goal by Wayne Simmonds last night was enough to salvage a point before losing to the Leafs in overtime. But the “tie” combined with a Bruins victory over the Red Wings (we’re rooting for the Red Wings now– KEEP UP!) damaged the Flyers’ playoff chances, dropping them down to 57%, using HockeyViz.com:
SportsClubStats.com has them at about 50-50.:
The Bruins have one game left – against the Senators tomorrow – while the Flyers will play the Penguins and Islanders this weekend. The Flyers still control their own destiny– win both and they’re in:
No pressure.

Jake the snake fucking blows. Dude is killing them & I would love to sucker him in the back of the head. Knock him out and shave his beard for costing the flyers the playoffs and stealing Eddie’s $
They should just check the guy in the throat. thats will take him out.
Or throw some batteries on the ice.
No wait….thats the eagles
does Ghost still play for the Flyers??? anyone know???
hee hee hee hee good one Tom
heard kc mcjockchaser was split in half my ochefu’s d1ck
Heard she flew in for the parade. Hope that kid who took a dump on Lancaster ace is there too. Would love to shake his hand
Nothing on your favorite punching bag front office asking Big Red to lie about Doug E. Fresh calling plays in KC? Nothing about the affair either?
Never thought this was a playoff caliber team and it’s starting to show. They overachieved these past few months. Also, it’s too difficult to ride one goalie at this point in the season.
“Never thought this was a playoff caliber team and it’s starting to show.”
Congratulations, you’re just like everyone else that knows anything about hockey. The playoffs were always just going to be a pleasant surprise this season. If they don’t make it, it will have been a frustrating week but still a positive season overall, as we saw a few of the young guys step in and make an impact (Ghost Bear, Cousins), a couple young NHLers really advance their game (Cooter, Schenn) and the solid play from both goalies.
Future is definitely bright, no matter what happens tomorrow and Sunday.
Wtf!? Not making playoffs would be fucking devastating
Why are you trying to start something? I was just stating the obvious and bringing a realistic perspective. Good job continuing to state the obvious. Thanks.
because he is an over-sensitive flyers fan who takes any minor criticism about the orange and black to heart.
hahahahahahahahahaha i laugh at you.
we’ve been hearing the same, “the future is def bright,” for 41 fucking years now. when exactly will the future be bright? exactly?
making the playoffs would have been a pleasant surprise? fucking moron.
Tonight, like the last three games, is not on Vorecek, it was a team effort through and through.
You want to blame someone for where the Flyers are? Blame Wayne Simmonds. His inexplicable, mind-numbing selfish attempt at an empty net against Winnipeg a few weeks ago cost us a game beyond WELL in hand, and started this downward spiral (we’ve only won once in regulation since).
You mean vs. Columbus
While I agree with you that was a brutal play, that’s the only correct thing you said. That happened against Columbus, and they’ve won 4 games since (2 in regulation). They actually won 4 out of 5 after that game, so it’s hardly the start of this downward spiral. Now if you want to say the point that we lost in that game is huge, then yes, that would be correct.
what are ya slow pal? horrific post
heard jim died
I heard Jim got fired for fucking the intern.
I’m the fastest at my times tables between 2-9.
I can use valiant in a sentence.
Pens and Isles aren’t chumps. Amazing how a team that looked unbeatable and a real threat to reach the conference finals have fallen apart over the last week to ten days.
conference finals? wow. didnt know anybody who thought that.
You know the last time the Flyers won a Cup, I was President. That’s 41 years and eight Presidents ago. Ed will still promote the playoffs to get his season ticket money six months early. That is a lot of interest juice.
The team is building, if they made the playoffs this season would have been a huge success. Well, they ain’t makin’ no Playoffs homie! It’s not about now, it’s about next year and beyond.
They need G to be who he’s supposed to be, Jake too ( you get that much money you better be a top player and they ain’t), Ghost is the main skill player onthe team. They need more! Watch that Detroit game, it’s like they skate in mud.
Next year should be the year we expect more…
You said thee exact same thing 1 year ago.
Eddie…time to refill that dispenser…..HHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
been hearing “next year” for 41 fucking years now, wtf. there ain’t no “next year” with this ownership.
Hey. I’m an Elite Top NHL Goalie who you can depend on down the stretch.
I’m 5-6 since Neuvrith got hurt and I had to take the entire workload on.
I gave up 10 goals over the past three games, four against the worst team in the NHL, a team that was fielding AHLers and TRYING to lose.
Elite. Top 5. NHL Goalie. Just like Kyle said.
bang
put that on a fucking tee shirt
