This is excellent, and I’m kind of jealous that the Flyers don’t factor in at all here. The Penguins are busy winning Stanley Cups, and the Capitals are busy coming up short, while the Flyers for three years now have been busy… making the playoffs? Yuck. I long for the days of someone actually giving a shit about us. The Cowboys-Eagles thing was shaping up to be fun for about a day, then the Cowboys ascended to 8-1 while the Eagles went to the bathroom in their own bed twice, including once in Dallas. The Mets don’t know we exist, and opposing teams fear only their own malaise against the Sixers. CAN WE PLEASE GET ANOTHER RIVALRY GOING? I don’t even care if we constantly come up short.
