Josh Huff's Press Conference Seemed Like a Real Doozy
Josh Huff met with the assembled media and was asked about his arrest yesterday – which, really, doesn’t sound that bad – and that’s when things took a turn toward crazy town. I’d show you video, but the Eagles conveniently haven’t posted this one on their website yet. Here are some of the highlights:
Josh Huff, who has a sociology degree: "I'm a professional athlete. What professional athlete don't have a gun?" You can't make this up.

"I’m from Houston. You can’t trust a lot of people in Houston. There’s always somebody out to get you. You gotta protect yourself." — Huff

Asked why he was speeding across the bridge, Huff said he was getting home to his pregnant wife.

Josh Huff on having hollow-point bullets: "I can't get into that. It's for protection. Point blank, period."

Huff: "I'm not Gilbert Arenas, bro. I'm not bringing a gun on the premises. I'm not going to bring a gun and put my teammates in jeopardy."

Man, what did Houston do to you, Josh? I never knew there was such lawlessness in Houston. Fuck, man. Did all the Villanova players make it back after winning their National Championship? Did any fall behind and succumb to the unencumbered violence? This is horrible! But I love Nick Fierro referencing Huff’s token sociology degree from Oregon as if he ever attended any classes and that it isn’t a token major for all D-I athletes. Besides, who needs the classroom when you you’ve learned everything there is to know on the rough and tumble back alleys of HOUSTON.
