Allen Iverson’s Big 3 Team Name and Co-Captain Announced

Teams in the Big 3, Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 summer league, are slowly being unveiled for the league’s inaugural run. Allen Iverson’s squad and co-captain were announced today– he’ll run 3’s Company – clever – with former Denver teammate (and 2000 #6 overall pick) DerMarr Johnson.
AI will coach, play, and captain, while Johnson will be his right-hand man. Their roster will be filled out in the upcoming draft, where AI can choose from such luminaries as Brian Scalabrine, Josh Childress, Reggie Evans, former Sixer Larry Hughes, and a bunch more (Latrell Sprewell, J.R. Rider, Earl Boykins, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, etc). The Big 3 will host a combine next month before the draft for coaches to scope out who will fill their five-man roster. The league will tour 10 cities during their season, but there is currently no word on which cities and venues they will hit.
