Oh, the tank is strong with this one.

The Nets are by far the worst team in the league, and Jim wrote the other day that the Sixers’ game against them last night was all but a guaranteed win. Not so fast, my friend. According to Keith Pompey, the the Nets’ 141 points set a Wells Fargo Center record previously set by the Harlem Globetrotters Trailblazers, who scored 139 points in 2013. The Nets’ 81 first half points? Yep, that was an arena record, too.

Dario Saric made a sad:

“Today our performance was under any NBA level,” Dario Saric said. “What can I say? I always try to talk honestly. I apologize to Philly fans that this team that showed up on this court wasn’t on any [NBA] level.”

Markelle Fultz, likely first overall pick, was in attendance. He must have been impressed. Man, these guys must really want me.

The Sixers are still the fifth-worst team in the league, so they’ll have to be just a little bit more awful if they want to improve those lottery odds. Trust the process.
