The Eagles hinted yesterday that they were thinking long and hard about their look for this Sunday’s game.

And unless my inference skills are WAY off, it looks like after some careful deliberation they are rolling with the all-black uniforms against the Broncos.

How Stranger Things of them.

Fans go crazy over the uniform combinations–it’s one of the most discussed items on Twitter when the team makes its weekly announcement. I’m good with the look, as long as it doesn’t mess up the juju of a 7-1 start and a 5-0 October.

The Eagles have gone 4-2 since unveiling the all-black look. In 2014, the Eagles blew out the Giants in an early season Sunday Night Football game, but lost a critical late season showdown with the Seahawks. The Eagles also split in 2015 when they again beat the Giants and lost to the Cardinals. For what it’s worth (it’s worth nothing), they are 2-1 with this look under Doug Pederson, beating the Vikings and Giants a year ago, while losing to Green Bay. More importantly, the Eagles are facing Brock Osweiler on Sunday afternoon and currently sit as an 8.5-point favorite. I like their chances.
