The 32 year old Cabrera is a versatile guy who can still hit, but I’m not exactly sure how he fits defensively.
He’s batting .277 this year with 18 home runs, 58 RBI, and an .817 OPS, which is a career high number, if you can believe it. He’s a two-time All-Star who played seven seasons in Cleveland before bouncing around from the Nats to the Rays and Mets. Cabrera started his MLB career at second base, then played shortstop before moving over to third base for the Mets. Bob thinks he plays short stop in Philly.
Thoughts?
