Brett Brown did his weekly appearance on the 97.5 the Fanatic morning show today. At least I think it’s weekly…

He said he does not expect to have new information on Markelle Fultz’s medical situation until Friday. Markelle was in New York City Monday to see a shoulder specialist and has not played in the last three games.

As far as reports suggesting that the Sixers are shopping Fultz around the league, Brown said this:

“They’re inaccurate. And all of that stuff, we learned five days ago, somebody had written or spoke about he maybe wanted to look at other options at well. I think it’s just part of the world we live in. It’s not shocking or surprising to me personally that these things come up. I get it. I think that Elton Brand, in the role he has – I’m thrilled to have Elton as my general manager – that’s certainly all in his wheelhouse more than mine.”

I believe it was The Athletic that first reported the change of scenery thing RE: Fultz, that he might prefer to play for a different team. Keith Pompey reported that the Sixers were open to trading Fultz while Adrian Wojnarowski says that’s not the case. I’m losing track of who said what.

Anyway Brett will speak later today at practice.
