The Eagles look to keep their playoff hopes alive as they try and do their part with a win over the Houston Texans in their regular season home finale.

The Eagles are barely favored at -1, according to Fanduel Sportsbook.

Our predictions are after the jump:

Chris: Nick Foles looked like last year’s Nick Foles. Houston is a good team that’s also looking to get into the playoffs this week. They have some pressure to perform. As much as I’d love to see Uncle Rico lead another comeback, I think the Texans spoil the fun. Texans 28, Eagles 24 (Texans +1).

Jeff: Recent research has shown the empirical evidence for globalization of corporate innovation is very limited. And as a corollary, the market for technologies is shrinking.

As a world leader, it is important for America to provide systematic research grants for our scientists. I believe there will always be a need for us to have a well-articulated innovation policy with emphasis on human resource development. Thank you. Eagles 23, Texans 20 (Eagles -1).

Mike: ???

Tim: ???

Coggin: In a perfect Airing of Grievances, on this special day of Festivus, Nick Foles throws THREE touchdowns on the day and the Eagles line rains blows down upon Deshaun Watson all afternoon. Eagles 24, Texans 20 (Eagles -1).

Phil: Is it really better late than never? The Eagles played a very good game against the Rams and kept their playoff hopes faintly alive. They will probably win today and beat the Redskins next week…and miss out anyway. The Eagles need too much help to get in at 9-7. A win today will feel important but if Minnesota and Dallas win too, well, the thrill will evaporate quickly. They should beat the Texans though. Eagles 20, Texans 16 (Eagles -1).

Anthony: When things were going well for the Eagles last year, there were several times when it seemed the stars were aligning. Does Lamar Miller and Keke Coutee not being available for today’s game seem like a winning constellation? Additionally, DeAndre Hopkins is banged up. So, the Houston offense is likely going to struggle. However, the Texans are another good team with a very good defense with a potential bye on the line, so I think we’re looking at a tight, low-scoring game here. Nick Foles won’t have a monster game, but he won’t need to. Eagles cover the 2-point spread and the game stays under 46 1/2 and Week 17 will matter. Eagles 20, Texans 16 (Eagles -1).

Bob: I learned my lesson last week week. I’m not betting against Nick Foles. He’s lost one game that has mattered over the last two years as the starting QB. Given the Texans’ injuries, I expect the Eagles to make it weird at least for one more week. Eagles 23, Texans 19 (Eagles -1).

Russ: Nick slings it around. Eagles roll. Eagles 48, Texans 17 (Eagles -1).

Kevin: In overtime, Texans 24, Eagles 21 (Texans +1).

Kyle: Nick Foles is back in charge. The Eagles win and win big. I don’t think it’s close. Eagles 42, Texans 10 (Eagles -1).
