Elton Brand Shot Down the Magic Johnson/Ben Simmons Thing

Magic Johnson could possibly be a straight-up liar, based on comments Elton Brand made a short time ago on 97.5 the Fanatic.

Speaking with Jason Martinez and The Cuz, Brand says Lakers’ General Manager Rob Pelinka contacted the Sixers about a possible Ben Simmons/Magic Johnson summer session:

Okay good, glad that’s over.

Practice is wrapping up right now, so we’ll see if anything else is said.

Are you still going to love it when Ben Simmons decides to leave because he feels disrespected and under appreciated by management?

Hows this for a take… this team is screwed when Harris and Butler walk. Especially since they recently dumped a LOT of their draft picks.

Silver would do anything to screw the Sixers and the process. Could see him now saying
All the assets gained by the process leave after Rookie deal do don’t tank

    Next victim is Boston

Good for Elton and exactly what he should do. Magic was bitching yesterday about Dell Demps “not negotiating in good faith” and then turns around and brings this up to the media outta nowhere, so he can stick that good faith shit up his ass.

Why does Ben need a hofer to teach him? BB let his little brother teach him how to shoot this past summer instead iof working with a legitimate coach. Ben is one of the worst shooters in the league, now in his third year. He and the Sixers have no excuse that he looks like a 12 year-old who has picked up a ball for the first time.
