Lane Johnson has jokes:

Heyoooooo!

Pretty good from Lane, who reportedly also restructured his contract, per a number of reporters. I think Adam Caplan was first:

No specific numbers for you, but Johnson was going to hit the cap around $15 million this season via a combined $10.8 million base salary and $4.2 million signing bonus. You may recall Lane restructured his deal last year as well, which just redistributes the same dollar amounts in a way that helps the Eagles free up cap space in the immediate future.

Per Over the Cap:

On March 13, 2018 the Eagles converted Johnson’s 2018 base salary and $250,000 roster bonus into a $9.71 million signing bonus and a $790,000 salary. The move saved the Eagles $7.267 million and lowered Johnson’s cap charge from $12.484 million to $5.218 million. Johnson’s salary cap charge increases by $2.428 million in each of the final three years of his contract.

Make sense?
