Andrew McCutchen Tore his ACL
He’s done for the year:
Andrew McCutchen said he hopes to be ready by Opening Day 2020. “It’s a sucky dynamic,” he said. “It’s not the news I wanted to hear.” He said he is confident he can be the same player next season because of advancements in medicine since he tore his other ACL in high school.

Well, fuck me.
I really like McCutchen as a player. Seems like a great dude as well.
The injury happened last night, when he was caught in a rundown after Jean Segura fell and didn’t get down the first base line, resulting in Ian Kinsler allowing the ball to drop and turning a double play.

Cutch was hitting .256 this year with a .378 on base percentage and .834 OPS.
