  1. Middleton is going to have to clean house because Klentak won’t fire Kapler and McPhail won’t fire Klentak. This team is a joke and I hope there are more 15-1 humiliations until change happens.

    1. Let me guess, you pine for the days of “baseball guys” like Pete MacKanin and Ryne Sandberg as manager? Kapler can’t force Harper and Hoskins to hit like they are supposed to. If anything it should be Mallee(sp?) on the hotseat. Klentak at least had some good acquisitions in the off-season to balance out stupid decisions like not signing Keuchel and valuing Nola as an ace (when he should’ve been shopped for more offense).

  2. So the guy who has spent half the season on the injured list is the only guy playing well under Gabe?

    Sounds like Gabe is a great influence on these players!
