The Philadelphia Eagles and Carson Wentz agreed to a four-year contract extension tonight.

The deal will run through 2024, according to the Philadelphia Eagles.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on the guaranteed money of the contract extension after the jump:

According to Schefter, the four-year extension includes $107 million-plus in guaranteed money, the largest guaranteed money ever paid to an NFL player. Russell Wilson set the record of $107 million guaranteed, which the Seahawks gave him this offseason.

Schefter also added that a source told him Wentz’s deal can escalate from $128 million to $144 million.

Wentz will be 31 when the contract expires.
