The Phillies Removed an Odubel Herrera Banner at Citizens Bank Park

Odubel Herrera mug shot

Per Matt Breen at the Inquirer:

This doesn’t necessarily mean Odubel is toast. It could just be a simple measure to help the club from an optics perspective while Herrera goes through the administrative process. The Phillies literally cannot do anything roster wise until Major League Baseball completes their investigation.

Odubel was arrested on Memorial Day for domestic violence. The Phils are off today but the club is honoring the late David Montgomery with a ceremony at CBP.

The little blurb about the copyrighted telecast of the game without the expressed written consent of the Phillies and MLB, which featured Odubel and Maikel Jacinto Franco was changed recently. Lotsa Bryce Harper now. Had to be changed, anyway, cause it was already 3 years old, a relic from the CSN days.
