We’re riding high on the Phillies this morning after last night’s 11-1 thrashing of the Cubbies. Charlie Manuel is back, the fellas are hitting the baseball, and everybody is feeling good as the Phils improve to 62-58 and try to turn this thing around.

They could, of course, get crushed tonight when Drew Smyly takes the mound opposite Yu Darvish, but that’s not what this story is about. It’s about Bryce Harper looking out for Charlie last night:

I took him a cup of water. He was working so hard and everybody was cheering his name and that was about it. I think Charlie has never seen a homer he didn’t like.
