Colin Kaepernick – big topic today! Everybody has an opinion.

We even have the President weighing in, because Trump was asked by the media if he thinks Colin Kaepernick should be given another shot to play in the NFL, to which he basically replied, ‘yeah, sure, if he’s good enough.’

That’s the short version.

Here’s the actual version, after the jump:

Trump:

“Only if he’s good enough…. And I think if he was good enough – I know the owners, I know Bob Kraft, I know so many of the owners – if he’s good enough, then sign him. If he’s good enough, I know these people, they would sign him in a heartbeat. They will do anything they can to win games. I’d like to see it. Frankly, I’d love to see Kaepernick come in if he’s good enough. But I don’t want to see him come in because somebody thinks he’s a good PR move. If he’s good enough, he will be in.”

Some people, of course, believe the NFL has blackballed Kaepernick entirely. Others don’t believe that.

But there you have it. There’s Trump’s Colin Kaepernick take.
