Jake Arrieta is Pretty Much Done for the Season

This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Jake Arrieta is headed to the injured list.
He’s been pitching with a bone spur in his elbow and not performing very well at all. He spoke to reporters ahead of today’s game and said that’s unable to give his team what it needs:

Arrieta will have tests tomorrow and “could have surgery soon” according to Jim Salisbury.
Zach Eflin will start on Saturday.
