Nick Foles Didn’t Want to Wear #9 in Jacksonville, Out of Respect for Philadelphia

We already knew Nick Foles was the man, but here’s another thing to add to his legend.
The Birds are playing in Jacksonville on Thursday night, and D Gunn over at NBC Sports Philadelphia is down there already, doing some Foles feature work. Nick revealed that he could have worn number nine for the Jags but decided not to out of respect for Philly and the Eagles:
Just spent some quality minutes with Nick Foles… One of the things I asked him was why he’s now wearing number 7 instead of 9 his response: “number 9 stays in Philadelphia. That number means a lot to me. It pertains to that city.” pic.twitter.com/cvieaYY38d
