These New Nike Eagles Shoes Are Straight Fire

Tonight marks the Eagles’ second preseason game, one which pits them against their former quarterback and Super Bowl LII winning quarterback Nick Foles. With fans in a frenzy ahead of the regular season, Nike dropped these absolutely phenomenal shoes with both men’s and women’s edition.

Men’s Midnight Green

Let’s get this out of the way: these shoes are midnight green fire. There’s a certain metallic glow to them when the light hits, giving the wearer a flashy conversation starter. There is plenty of obvious imagery to attached to the Eagles edition, including three different lace colors (green, black, silver), the exterior midnight green color, the small Eagles logos near the heel, another on the tongue of the shoes, and an insole with the name of the team plastered along the heel.

The outer edge of each shoe features the iconic Midnight Green color and the Eagles’ logo near the heel. The aforementioned metallic sheen is sure to catch anyone’s eye.

The backside of the shoes brings the Eagles’ logo into view, along with the iconic Nike swoosh placed dead center above the heel:

The shoes’ insole features the team’s name across the heel. Although it’s something only the wearer will see on a daily basis, it’s a nice look and a tip of the cap to the famous font the team uses for their name:

To be honest, I think the Nike Air Pegasus 36 Eagles Edition look pretty excellent from top-down. The lacework and accent pieces along the top balance out the otherwise overwhelming midnight green with shades of black and silver.

Women’s White Pegasus

The women’s edition of the Nike Air Pegasus 36 Eagles Edition are no slouch. They feature the same Nike Zoom logo along the outer sole of the shoe, along with the same stitch-work as the men’s midnight green version. The primary color looks to be white/silver with a black undertone, giving it an everyday appeal, as opposed to a flat white shoe that a wearer would be afraid to dirty.

The shoe’s outer sole is identical to the men’s with the notable exception of it being white as opposed to the black found in the men’s edition.
