Wells Fargo Center Upgrades Include Top Level $25 Standing Room Only Ticket

via Comcast Spectacor

Can’t keep track of all these Wells Fargo Center updates and upgrades. Another press release just hit the inbox, this one describing the “New City Terrace” located on the arena’s top level.

Most intriguing is a blurb in the release that describes a new standing room only area that can be accessed via a cheap $25 ticket.

Read:

The Wells Fargo Center today announced the New City Terrace, the latest installment of Comcast Spectacor’s $265 million, multi-year initiative, “Transformation 2020.” The New City Terrace is a complete overhaul of the arena’s top level and features an unprecedented mix of amenities and ticket options that redefine traditional in-arena rituals for fans old and new. In addition to the recently announced PlaySugarHouse.com Sports Lounge, the central feature of the New City Terrace will be the “Assembly Room”– a truly unique club inspired by the Spirit of ’76.

The New City Terrace can be accessed via the Flyers’ first-ever standing room admission, which, at $25, stands as one of the lowest-priced tickets in the NHL. Over 750 standing room tickets will be made available in the Assembly Room for each Flyers game. The Assembly Room will also be open for Sixers games and other select events at the Wells Fargo Center at price points to be announced at a later date.

They sent some pictures along with the release.

Here’s another shot of the “Assembly Room” –

Here’s the “South Bar” in the Assembly Room:

the Flyers cant even afford to mail out season tickets. I guess because of the money they spent on the renovations. here is the response “I would be able to print the tickets on computer paper but would you be able to pick them up?”
“We are asked to have them picked up or we can leave at will call for when you arrive for your 1st game.”
We buy these tickets to give out to customers! A little less effective when you have to transfer a ticket have them download an app and then if THEY want to give them to an employee they have to do the same dam thing! they can sell the Kate statue and use the scrap metal money to pay for postage dont you think!

not sure if true, but saw a guy complaining on facebook (IKR) that he called asking about these $25 standing room tickets and they said they’re only available if/when a game sells out

Good luck accessing the Terrace. The building has been plagued with broken elevators for years, it is a problem that never gets fixed.
Can’t wait for the fans to get stuck for 20minutes inside. If you want to take the stairs, you can’t …the building has locked the entrance side of the doors, so no stairwell access, this is also probably a violation of the fire code.
