Here’s a Look at the New Nike Phillies Home Jersey

via Tim Kelly

There is no scorching hot stove news from baseball’s winter meetings yet this morning, but worry not because we have some very exciting stuff here.

Nike is now producing MLB uniforms, and we’re getting our first look at what the Phillies will be rocking this upcoming season. Behold this beauty, courtesy of Phillies Nation’s Tim Kelly:

Actually, this looks…well, it looks like the old uniforms but with a red Swoosh. Riveting.

Here’s what the home jerseys of all 30 teams will look like:

In most cases, each of these jerseys are similar to what we saw last season but with the addition of the The Swoosh.

The Padres, Rangers, and Brewers, however, will be sporting different looks:

The Brewers

  1. Sick of these cartoon little kid font jerseys. I was hoping with the nike switch they’d go back to maroon and blue.

  2. Phillies have the WORST uniforms in baseball.

Their home uniforms suck – that stupid red pinstripe look needs to go – and fast.

The grey road uniforms are incredibly boring. How about mix in a solid red or solid royal blue jersey?/ Is it that difficult?

    1. actually the piping font is horrible, numbers on uniforms the worst. the phils should try something from the 1920’s or 30’s. just update the look. also have red and blue shirts for both home and road. the phils will never have the iconic look like the yankees or red sox.
