MLB Punishes Astros for Sign Stealing

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

If you’re not cheating, your’re not trying.

That’s the first rule.

The second rule is not to get caught cheating, which the Astros failed to do. Here’s their punishment for stealing signs:

Does it really mean anything if the Astros are still World Series champions? That’s honestly not a bad price to pay for a title (with an asterisk). And the sport has a history of cheating anyway, so it’s not like this some shocking revelation here, even thought the punishment is rather steep by MLB standards.

RE: Cora, Ken Rosenthal writes this at The Athletic:

Discipline for Cora will be determined after baseball completes its investigation of the Red Sox for separate sign-stealing allegations that occurred while Cora was the team’s manager in 2018, as reported by The Athletic last week.

Real question is when the Phillies are gonna get back into the postseason and get that fucking trophy back for John Middleton. And let’s stop beating around the bush and get J.T. Realmuto locked up already.

    1. Best part about this post is most people here have no clue what you’re referencing

  1. Phils need to hire luhnow and fire loser klentak

  2. Oh goodness. I’m going to write the Astros a letter and let them know they’ve disappointed me. I’ll let you know if they respond. Happy Monday all.

  3. It’s a shame about Houston putting a huge blemish on an otherwise fairy tale season but I’ll tell you what…nothing warms my black, shriveled heart more than seeing what Boston has coming their way with this.

  4. Hi there outstanding website! Does running a blog such as this
take a lot of work? I have virtually no understanding of coding but I was hoping to
start my own blog in the near future. Anyways, if you have any
recommendations or tips for new blog owners please share.
I understand this is off subject but I just wanted to ask.
    Thanks!
