The Phillies continue to dumpster dive look for value on the open market.

After being linked to Francisco Liriano earlier today, they are also reportedly bringing in 34 year old Neil Walker:

Walker played for the Mets, Yankees, and Pirates over the course of his 11-year MLB career. Last year he hit .261 for the Marlins with a .738 OPS and 38 RBIs over the course of 115 games.

He’s a switch-hitter, a potential infield bench bat. Oddly enough, the Phils have signed what feels like half of the 2013 Pittsburgh team that won 94 games.
