Garth Brooks Accused of Supporting Bernie Sanders After Wearing BARRY Sanders Jersey

File this one to the “you can’t make this shit up” category.
Garth Brooks played a show in Detroit recently and decided to wear the jersey of Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders. Barry wore the #20 during his playing days, but some morons, nitwits, and dopes thought the jersey was a reference to Bernie Sanders 2020, so they ripped Garth on social media, saying stuff like this:
“Thought you were different,” wrote jenjensoccermomma, who got crushed in the replies.
Here’s another comment, from “chrisay59” –
Nothing like supporting a communist to loss a few fans! How about going to a successful socialist country and doing some research? Oh yes, you can’t because there aren’t ANY successful socialist countries!
And more feedback from Facebook:
Facebook forgot who Barry Sanders is and is freaking out at Garth Brooks for wearing a jersey and I’m dying. pic.twitter.com/wVfAKU7Cn1
